Ingredients
Shiitake mushrooms
Oyster mushrooms
200g butter
Pre-cooked rice (this is rice that has been cooked in advance)
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce (separated)
1 tsp sugar
Pepper
1 tsp Dashi powder (can substitute chicken or vegetable stock)
Preparation
Step 1
Chop or slice mushrooms. Warm pan and add half of the butter (100g). Once butter has melted add mushrooms to pan.
Step 2
Add in 1/2 tbsp soy sauce and pepper and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Mix the sauce: 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp dashi powder.
Step 4
Add in cold cooked rice and drizzle with sauce. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add in the other half of the butter.
Step 5
Once butter was melted and incorporated, serve hot.
